Outside the Box: Theater and Writing Games

This 8-session after-school program was designed for middle school students at Haworth Public School.  The 1-hour sessions combine high-energy improvisational theater games with creative writing games designed to get students' bodies and minds active after a long day.

SLAM IT!: Reading, Writing, and Performing Poetry

 8-session program designed for North Star Self-Directed Learning Center in Hadley, MA.  Combines critical reading with writing exercises, step-by-step revision process, and culminates in a class-run community slam.  Students not only learn about poetry and the history of spoken word, but basic event planning skills, and how poetry can find a place in their community.  2hrs/session.

Basic Writing Workshop

Can be as few as 1 or as many as 10 sessions.  Focused around writing games, prompts and craft.  Can be modified to work for any ages between 10-100. 1 hr/session.
